1:00 - 2:30 P.M. Eastern
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the large number of questions coming in to OSEP around Part B's potential 50% reduction of Maintenance of Effort the first 15 minutes of this call will be dedicated to this topic. Ruth Ryder, Director of the Monitoring and State Improvement Planning Division of OSEP and Suzanne Sheridan from the Department of Education's Office of General Council will address the most frequently asked questions on this topic. Additional time will be spent on the issue of MOE as the topic focus for the May call of the IFA Webinar series.
The Regional Resource Center Program is presenting a series of national calls to support states in their Integrated Fiscal Accountability efforts.
The first call will focus on the integrated fiscal requirements of the IDEA, OMB Circulars A-133 (and the compliance supplement) and A-87 and OSEP's CrEAG (fiscal critical elements and questions), as well as pointing out frequent audit findings related to those requirements. The purpose will be to "paint a picture" of how the requirements in these documents relate to one another and form a foundation for integrated fiscal accountability.
